68 Days…
reminds me of that awful horror movie “28 Days.” But really, only 68 days till my wedding day!

in the mail! It’s feeling very official now.
I got married last May. Shopping for my wedding dress was a bizarre and emotional experience. I knew I wasn’t just paying for the fabric and the craftsmanship. I knew I was paying for the word “wedding” and all the feelings attached to it. But how much did the word “wedding” cost me? If I had bought the same dress for some other occasion, would it have been cheaper? I took my dress to a fabric store and a tailor to find out.
I’ve found myself using Pinterest more and more (at the expense of this wedding blog) - feel free to follow me there if you’re interested!
Wedding Invitations are DONE! Waiting for them to get back from the printer so I can mail them out in the next few weeks. Ready to get this show on the road!
Precisely why I don’t want to change my name. I’m lazy. Plus, I’ve had the same name for 27 years and have no interest in changing it now. My fiance doesn’t care, why should I?

Needing some help! I’m in the process of creating our wedding invitations and want to come up with cute but tasteful RSVP response cards. I would like to write “Will be there in spirit” as the decline option but am stumped for what I should write for those who accept. I originally thought “Would not miss it!” might work but it doesn’t quite flow.
Suggestions???
